2024 Rio Trio Racecourse

The new order of events is Run, Paddle, Pedal. Map below.

2024 Racecourse Description (legs of the race are in the order they appear):

1. Run: 5k+ miles: Mix of dirt singletrack, gravel, and pavement  

2. Paddle: 3-miles:  Slow-moving class I river. We recommended a kayak (flatwater kayak or whitewater without skirt). Standup paddleboards and inflatable duckies and kayaks also work.  

3. Bike: 8 miles: mix of dirt/gravel/pavement road and beginner-level singletrack. We recommend a hardtail mountain bike or gravel bike. Full-suspension mountain bikes work but are not necessary.
